Cult of Running Premieres at The Runners Academy

On 27th February 2026, Cult of Running premiered for the first time at The Runners Academy in Toronto. The premiere was attended by the film's cast and subjects -- an intimate crowd of twenty-five people or so. There were a few chairs available but, since this was The Runners Academy, the audience found it suitable to sit on yoga mats, dumbbells, and flat benches during the film. Despite being a small crowd, their reaction to the film was lively. Attendees stayed behind to discuss the film. For many of them, this film represented three years of their lives in the running community.

As an after party, the Lamb Studios team visited a nearby restaurant that served them nachos smothered in sour cream. To this day, the Lamb Studios team wonders why those nachos were smothered in sour cream.
