Hi, I'm MJ
I am a storyteller.
I was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. In 2009, I moved to Canada. I have always been creative, energetic, and a go-getter. I see myself as a bit of a Swiss army knife - capable of writing, storyboarding, directing, illustrating, producing, editing, mixing, and shooting.
In October 2025, I will be joining VaynerMedia as a Senior Creator. I will be responsible for kicking off the Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE) portfolio. I will be making content for the Leafs, the Raptors, TFC, the Argos, musicians and various restaurants in Toronto.
Before VaynerMedia, I worked at The Kitchen, the in-house marketing agency for KraftHeinz, as a content creator. There, I kicked off the Canadian portfolio, which included brands like Kraft Dinner, Heinz Ketchup and Philadelphia Cream Cheese. In 2024, I kicked off the Claussen Pickles social media page. I also worked on A.1. Steak Sauce and Jell-O.
Before The Kitchen, I worked at GUT Toronto as their first ever content creator. There, I worked on Tim Hortons and Mitsubishi Motors.
I am an exercise freak: I love running, cycling, surfing, and weight training. My love for exercise dovetails with my love for travel, which I typically do solo, so that I make new friends and go on rugged adventures (see "Monzo"). I enjoy going to church, listening to music, playing Dungeons & Dragons, and hosting dinner parties.
