On 22nd May 2026, Cult of Running screened at Bevy in Toronto. The screening was open to everyone -- runners and non-runners alike. The event sold out, with all 145 spots claimed. Unlike the premiere, this screening followed a more traditional movie screening format. Attendees were welcome to order drinks, buy merchandise, and check out our "behind-the-scenes" materials. After the film itself, there was a Q&A with MJ Cobb, the film's storyteller.
For the after party, the Lamb Studios team went to Fran's Restaurant on Shuter (yes, the one beside the hospital). There, they ate spaghetti and convinced their waiter, Brendan, to take a selfie with them. He obliged, shoutout Brendan.
The Lamb Studios team would like to thank Phil Song and the team at Bevy for helping to organize this event.
