In 2025, I joined VaynerMedia as a Senior Creator. I became responsible for the MLSE account, making content for their sports teams, restaurants and venues. A core component of this project was developing a unique visual style and tone of voice that would connect with fans in practical and insightful ways.
Think Local
With its corporate window dressing, we often forget that the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors were, at one point, nothing more than local teams. Drawing from rural Ontario, I imagined what it would be like to promote them as if they were local teams.

Knowing that retro-gazing is popular on social media, I landed on 1950s designs. Not only do 1950s ads elicit feelings of nostalgia, but their matter-of-fact and descriptive copy worked will with MLSE's business priorities.
